The Child Development department aims to provide our students with the opportunity to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in relation to the roles and responsibilities connected to child development from conception to the age of five in a variety of settings.

The Languages curriculum at Yateley School intends to provide a rich and varied experience to enable all pupils to develop their linguistic ability and confidence. We offer the pupils plenty of regular opportunity to express their opinions on a variety of topics in both spoken and written tasks, with a key focus on spellings and pronunciation

We want students to make sense of the complex and dynamic world that they live in and to appreciate different societies and cultures. Graphics enables students to think creatively, converting ideas and raw materials into the products and services that we all need and use every day of our lives. Students use the iterative design process to develop innovative solutions to design problems and will be introduced to a range of design, modelling techniques and CAD packages.
